Dino Dig Playdate

Because I am a glutton for punishment--one party in a weekend is never enough.  4 of the kids (at least) in my mom's group all have b-days within 6 days of each other.  So the 3 boys had a shared bday playdate celebration for any of their friends to come and play and enjoy a treat.  I had to make it a little special, so I got some dinosaurs to bury, brought some construction equipment, and buckets and shovels.  Bree brought some blue sand (huge hit) for the buckets and to bury the dinosaurs and we had ourselves a mini-dino dig.  The kids alternated between the snack table, the playground, and the "dig site." They had a blast.  I used a lot of the decor I had from C's bday party  last year to decorate the pavilion a little bit.  I had cupcakes w/ simple construction toppers I made and Bree and Natalie had a super cool dinosaur covered cupcake cake.
