Big 3 year old!

C had his 3 year appointment today.  He did great--he was so cooperative.  The doctor has us go through a developmental checklist each time we come for a "check-up."  He was able to do all the things he's supposed to through the end of this year--exept pedal a tricycle for 10 feet (this is our fault).  He also doesn't dress himself much--obviously something we need to work on on the next year.

The doctor was surprised by his verbal skills (as are most people).  He even sang for her--show off.  He jumped for her, and basically hammed it up.  He told the nurse she was a very nice lady (seriously, uncoached).  He was scared of the blood pressure cuff, but she was really patient with him, and he appreciated it I guess.

He was in the 50th percentile for both weight and height, which was a jump from last year when he was in the 25th.  He's gained 4 pounds in the last 3 months when he went to the doctor when he was sick.  I wasn't surprised.  He's grown so much lately. 

We had a fun day after the appt.  We checked out the newly remodeled play room at our local library (it's been closed for construction for over 3 months).  Then he and I had a lunch date together at Noodles and Co.  He loved the mac n cheese w/meatballs he ordered.  I had the Japanese Noodles with beef--yummy.
