The adults chilling--this was the best thing about having things for the kids to do the whole time--the adults pretty much chilled (except while trying to encourage the kids to eat).
Collecting/fishing for nuts and bolts. This was a great activity for the little ones. They were hard core about it for 5 minutes.
We also had the wheelbarrow races (no good pics have surface yet, but we will see my dad's soon).
We also had a McDonald's play area set up w/popcorn in paper sacks that was a HUGE hit w/the kids.
Daddy assembling the b-day treats--I don't recommend these. We baked cupcakes in ice cream cones then topped w/ice cream and whipped topping. The kids liked the ice cream, but then were freaked out by the cupcake inside the cone. Plus they were impossible to bake correctly and were really hard to get out to the kids w/o the ice cream slipping off the cone.
C thoroughly enjoyed his though!
