Week 1 down
Made my first week of training goal. I ran over 13 miles, lifted weights 2 days (with high intensity intervals), and rode my bike for 52 minutes (with a high intensity training video). Tired now, but it feels great. I finished my 5K today with a personal best time of 29:02 minutes. My official time should be less--can't wait to see the results. We actually wore timing chips in the race which start when you cross the start line and stop when you cross the finish. My time should be a bit under 29 minutes. I'm stoked about this. I think the best I've ever run a 5K race was about 52 minutes, so this was awesome for me. Now to tackle the 12K.
