I have a feeling this will end badly--probably in an enema

C seems to be trying to hold everything in for fear of sitting on the potty.  Can you say issues?  I'm pretty sure if he doesn't give in or at least mess himself things will end badly.  Luckily it's only been 48 hours or so, and things could change anytime, but I see this as becoming a problem.  He only  had 2 accidents yesterday, so we seem to be making progress, but he still hasn't told me he needs to go.

I know it is frustrating. Potty training was probably the hardest thing I had to deal with so far. With C a lot if was about control issues. We were fighting for it. We too started and stopped potty training 2 times before she finally gave in and got it. I have a good potty training book if you want to borrow it. It is kind of Nazi in the way they do it, but it worked for us and some other friends of mine. Hang in there! And rest assured he will not go to kindergarten wearing pull ups! :).

Do you have prune juice in the house?? Or prunes if he'll eat them? Might make a mess, but he won't be able to keep fighting it for sure.

It took Dyl and Xavs a long time before they would tell me that they had to go. I am dealing with it now with KK, but I just let it go and have a built in clock during these times. As long as I tell them to go enough times a day, there are few accidents. Thankfully.

We did end in enemas, etc. So if you have those concerns you can email me. I have lots of experience up that alley. Oh what these eyes have seen!

But until then... prune juice, apple juice, apple jax, etc.
