He can be such a sweety--he kept hugging this little girl at our house today (had a few kids over for a playdate)--he even gave her a kiss--and then he tackled her. Embarrassing--all of it. She then tackled him, and they fell straight onto the hard floor like a nestea plunge sandwich.

Amalie is also a meanie. She hits and scratches her sister and our dog routinely. I tell her she can hit a pillow or the couch if she is angry. That helps a bit.
If she hits me I put her down and essentially give her a time out from me. She is a mommy's girl so that really gets her.
Unfortunately, she still hits etc. It is quite frustrating and hard not to take it personally.
