Avengers Birthday Party Part 1: Prepping

Here's the pics leading up to the party.

We worked our butts off yesterday in the super hot, hot weather to get the playset up, the yard cleaned, the house ready, and cupcakes/cakes frosted, etc.

their personalized goodie bags.  Brenda, my MIL found the bags and embroidered the Avengers, the Iron-Man and their names on them.  Pretty cool.  They had a bunch of Avengers-themed stuff like a cup, frisbee bracelet, a tatoo, gummies and a sticker sheet in them.

Colin insisted we have this (as well as a computer screen I made for the Avengers tower). It was so hot we just didn't even get to play with them

we had washers and bocce out for adults, but it was too hot.  you can see the scavenger hunt pieces hidden though.  it was a cute game that the kids had to find the 4 pieces on their card to win a sticker.
