Back in the swing of things

Our internet is up and running, but I need to get back to taking some pictures.  Sorry about that. 

Here are some occurences in our blogging absence.

Favorite quote of C's:

(lying in bed talking while Daddy was putting tucking him in) "I like donuts.  I love you daddy."  They weren't discussing donuts at all prior to this statement.

C loves to tell a joke his Uncle Dave told a few weeks ago.  "What's brown and sticky?  A stick"

He's really experimenting with his sense of humor and trying to be funny and clever in what he says.

Two nights ago he told us he was "eating well." This cracked me up that he used proper grammar.

He attended his second b-day party yesterday and did better than I expected.  Then we went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant and he was perfect.  It's been a very fun weekend with the nice weather.  We've spent a lot of time outside and have loved it.

I'm sure I'm forgetting tons of things.  I will have to get back in the habit of blogging.
