Back to the Grind

Ho-hum. The holidays are over, and now commences my least favorite time of year. I HATE winter and the cold and gloom. It seems especially cruel after the build up of the holidays. The holidays were great, but I think I had too much fun. I feel a day behind in all aspects of my life. I didn't feel prepared for work today or yesterday. I don't think I'll feel ahead of the curve until next week. I didn't get near as much done over the break as I should have. I felt sick for a chunk of the break, so I was unmotivated to grade. Scott and I played too much after New Year's so we didn't get our tree down when we usually do, so that has added to the stress. We got all the decorations down last night, but now it's still sitting in the living room, waiting until Friday to be put out of its misery.
