Cinco De Mayo playdate

Colin had some friends over for a playdate this morning in honor of Cinco De Mayo.  I'm not going to put any pics of the kids' faces up b/c I don't have their parents' permission (and I feel a bit odd about it), so I'll only post pics w/backs of kids heads or with C or no kids.  Ole!

gotta have a banner

a little something to announce the event for our preschool age guests who can't read.  cause I'm cool like that.

the spread. a lot of people brought stuff.  yummy veggies, a mexican style hummus, fruit salsa and cinnamon chips.  i had some mexican cookies from the latin foods store and fruit--see the mexican flag from fruit in the back right?  i also made quesadillas served with various salsas, cheese, beans, and guacamole.  i also took advantage of some grocery freezer items: chimichangas and taquitos. i made some frozen mock-aritas.  they were okay.
