Wake up, mama

C has had a verbal explosion in the last 2 weeks.  He has started making sentences.  He says

hold daddy horse, mama
all done
mama bear tired, rest.
blue...baseball...hat
hold me
thanks, mama
cosmo-sweet boy
cozzy and kony
yea, col-col
my baseball hat or my baseball ball
col-col's shows
wake up, mama
kiss...hugs

and I'm sure others.  My favorites are thanks, mama and wake up, mama (I get so sleepy when it's time to put him to bed b/c we have 10-15 min. of playtime in his room before we read)

He is counting to 6--though he always wants to skip the number 5.  He's not great at his ABC's but he does parts of it.  He's very good w/colors and shapes and basic identifications.

All of these phrases are making life easier, but with increased communication comes even more tantrums.  It's like he's saying, "you know what I want, why can't I have it?" He's started doing this thing when he fusses/throws a tantrum--he covers his eyes.  It's really funny.  I have to try not to laugh.

The rain kept us inside, so it was pretty boring for him, but we survived.

It's hard to believe that in less than 2 months our little guy will be 2.
