Oh how they change

Every week he is so different. This week he has changed so much. He pulled himself all the way up on this toy, and cruised around part of it.

Climbing into our "entertainment center" is a new pasttime. He's not scared to go up, but he doesn't know how to get down. The first day (first 2 pics) I started laughing as soon as he made it up, and he turned himself around. Today I was ready with the camera to catch him in the up process.

In the last week Colin has been in a hurry to learn/try out new things. It's been very hectic, but a lot of fun. He's been "helping" a lot--vacuuming, unloading the dishwasher, feeding the dogs, doing laundry, etc. Things seem to take twice as long. He is pulling up on anything that is low-ish. No pulling up on sofas or coffee tables, but everything else is fair game.
Enjoying some bath playtime. He loves baths. He LOVES to play with his froggy, rubber ducky and a bath book that the Osbornes gave him. He also enjoys splashing and crawl swimming in the tub. He has no fear!

Graduated to his "big boy" seat. He likes all the extra room.
As you can see, the poor little guy is dealing with sebhhoric dermatitis (I know I didn't spell that correctly). He just rubs and rubs his face into his bedding, and it rubs his face raw.
One not so cute thing for the week is waking up in the middle of the night screaming. I don't know if his ears are still bothering him or what. He has learned to pull himself up to standing in his crib, but I haven't snapped that yet. It is really cute, but Scott's out of town and we need to move his mattress down again, but I don't know how to do it, so I'm so scared he will try to climb out or fall out when he awakes in the night.

I was just thinking today how Amalie is in the age where from week to week, her skills could be so different. It is so cool to see them learning so fast - right before your eyes.

I have Amalie's big girl car seat in my living room just ready to be put in. I can't wait to put the baby one in storage!

Do you think Colin is crying cause he doesn't know how to get down when he's standing up? I've heard some babies "ask for help" when they are practicing their new skills nocturnally.

He's so cute!

Looks like he's into everything. Let the fun begin!
I was so sad to here that I missed your visit into town the other week. Sadness! Hope to see you next time you visit!
