Another year goes by

I recently turned 29, and I'm pausing to reflect on all that's happened in the last year.

Reflections:

Joined a small group at church--this has been a tremendous blessing

Was a PE teacher for 6 weeks as a long term sub--proved to be lots of fun.

This led to an interview for a teaching position at the other hight school--I got it!

Started teaching in November last year--love my school, love the job!

Found out I was pregnant--scary and exciting

Had a difficult pregnancy--but we got a sweet little boy

Got to keep my job on a part-time basis--the jury is still out on this, but I think it's a good thing


Hopes for the next year:

Scott gets a promotion-- we get to move, hopefully to St. Louis, but who knows

I get to stay at home full time

Can't wait to stop breast feeding

To see Colin continue to grow and change

To see Colin baptized in a church where we feel connected (wish we were back at Greentree)
